Scar Tissue forms in the body as a temporary patching for wounds caused by surgery, trauma or repetitive stress (wear and tear injury). Scar tissue often connects tissue not normally connected into Adhesions. Adhesions commonly spread entrapping nerves and restricting/blocking blood vessels that nourish the fibrotic tissue (causing the tissue to die and become rigid and inflexible). This loss of nerve and blood flow causes pain, numbness and reduced range of motion; most non-diagnosed pain and reduced mobility are caused by scar tissue adhesions.
